Dear team at Degrowth,
my name is Ainara Fernández, I am currently finishing my masters on urban public policy at Sciences Po Paris. I am doing an internship in the research team at United Cities and Local Governments and writing my thesis on social housing.
I studied International Business Economics for my undergrad and I developed a strong aversion for the economic world order as it is. I am super interested in degrowth as an urgent alternative to the current definition of what being a “successful” city means. Namely, degrowth as moving away from the paradigm of economic growth as the only acceptable driver of urban development.
